Neural Magic to Speak at and Sponsor ODSC EAST 2020

Neural Magic is excited to be participating in the Open Data Science Conference East, also known as ODSC EAST, this April. The conference, to be held virtually (previously in Boston) April 14th-17th, will feature people and companies who are working on the cutting edge of AI, machine learning, and data science. We look forward to both sharing our insights and learning from the other attendees and presenters at this venerable conference.

Here’s a little more about what we’ll be up to at ODSC EAST this year.

The Software GPU: Making Inference Scale in the Real World

Who: Nir Shavit, CEO, Neural Magic & Award-winning MIT Professor
What: The Software GPU: Making Inference Scale in the Real World” talk
When: 10:40 AM on April 17, 2020 (45-minute talk)
Why: What if you could process complex deep learning models at scale without specialized AI hardware? Spoiler: You can, and Nir will show you how.

Pruning for Success

Who: Mark Kurtz, Machine Learning Lead, Neural Magic
What: “Pruning for Success” talk
When: 10:30 a.m. on April 16, 2020 (25-minute talk)
Why: Mark Kurtz will demonstrate how to prune models for performance, explain the pros and cons of pruning, showcase tools, then show how to get it into production.

Our Booth & Live Demos

Neural Magic will be sponsoring ODSC EAST and will have a booth located in the virtual exhibitor hall. We are most excited to meet people and show them breakthroughs we’ve been working on over the past months.

We will be offering demos of our software, which we call “No Hardware AI.” We help teams get GPU-class performance for their deep learning models on commodity CPUs, no special hardware required. And, most importantly, we make it easy! In the live demo, we can show you how it works and talk through use cases for your organization.

We are excited to show you how our Neural Magic Inference Engine and Recalibration Tools help make performance easy.

See You at ODSC EAST!

We hope to see you at these talks, and to get the opportunity to speak with you in more depth about your machine learning challenges and successes at our booth during the show.
